I am a long-time Belmont resident and environmental consultant with a passion for art. I sketch and paint watercolor on commission and on projects that inspire me. My portraits (both people and pets) and landscapes aim to capture color and character in the world around us.

I rediscovered a love of painting and sketching shortly after I became a father and started coloring and doodling with my kids. Now, I recognize that I have painted and sketched throughout many different periods of my life--as a kid at camp, as a high schooler in a figure drawing studio, and as a young adult, traveling. 

Over the past few years, my work has been displayed in solo and group exhibits in Washington, D.C., and in the Boston area on several occasions and in magazines, websites, restaurants, cafes, libraries, shops, businesses, municipal buildings, private collections, and on a utility box.
